Doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past?
"How can we account for our present situation unless we believe that men high in this government are concerting to deliver us to disaster? This must be the product of a great conspiracy on a scale so immense as to dwarf any previous such venture in the history of man. A conspiracy of infamy so black that, when it is finally exposed, its principals shall be forever deserving of the maledictions of all honest men."

You forget: THEY HATE OUR FREEDOM.
...the terrorists, that is. I think. Yeah, that must be who he keeps talking about. The Gov.'s not taking our freedoms away, they're just hiding them for a little while so as not to piss off the terrorists any more. Clever diplomacy, that's what that is.
Sometimes, though, I wish I had freedom that they didn't hate so much. Like Switzerland's, or Japan's, or Canada's, or even Brazil's. I wonder how come they don't hate their freedom as much as ours. Oh well, I'm just about out of my free speech rations for the week so I'll wrap this up. Here's to everyone who said that Americans aren't willing to sacrifice during wartime anymore. In the World Wars, they just had Freedom Gardens. Good thing the Nazis didn't hate gardening as much as they hated Europeans, or we'd have had to hide those, too.
You dirty commie.
